Fall Festival

We enjoyed a night at St. Paul's Fall Festival with our friends the Rabern's...Caiden has so much fun! Even though we played games and ate dinner and enjoyed a costume contest, the majority of our time (surprise, surprise) was spent at the Fire Engine and on the "train."

Daddy Doll...

We opened the door today and our DADDY DOLL package was waiting for us :) Caiden has carried this thing around with him everywhere since he opened the package yesterday! He told me "now I will sleep with my Daddy and give him some sugga's!" Because his Daddy LOVES to sniff and kiss on his head. Daddy...the tables have now been turned :)

Deployment...

Well...it finally happened. It seemed it was so far away months ago when we were in AZ, and then I took a breath and it was here. Aaron left FL last Thursday and headed for Savannah to finalize a few things with his company's items. They had formation at 7pm Saturday evening and deployed for Iraq at 1 am on Sunday morning.
He was in Germany yesterday morning when I spoke with him, and he had already arrived at the Ft. in Kuwait when he called last night. He had showered, shaved and already eaten breakfast at 11:25 EST.
His 1st Sgt. was showing him the lay of the land...where they will be for the next few weeks before heading into Iraq.
We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers you ALL have sent us! Even though we don't particularly like the sandy road God has us on, we will make it through it...I have my dust buster in hand...although this much sand and dust might require my Dyson!

First Bath...

Aaron and Caiden gave Cameron his first bath this past week...WHAT FUN! He seemed to enjoy the warm water on his belly, he did not however enjoy the cool air when getting him dressed again!

Cousins...

Caiden had a bath with his cousin Colton last night and then watched a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before we headed to bed! Colton also left his hat at the house which Caiden modeled for us until he hit the hay!

Hawaiian Caiden

Uncle Travis ventured to Hawaii before his last deployment and brought Caiden back a Hilo Hattie outfit...and of course it is just now fitting him (Mr. skinny). He has been asking to wear it every day...so here it is! I am sure it will be a weekly outfit from now on :)

"The Blankie"

We FINALLY figured out how to get Cameron on his Bellie Blanket without making him completely uncomfortable. He has to lay on this 2' x 6" strip of photo therapy lights until his Jaundice levels are normal (HOPEFULLY TODAY!) Up until the discovery of this little portable bed, we have been wrapping it around him. Being that he is so tiny, it was completely uncomfortable for him :( But now he is nice and snuggly!
