Rice Crispy Treats

Caiden and I ...and Cameron too...made Crispy Treats to send to Daddy was bunches of fun! He got to do every single step...and he only made a little bit of a mess :) His favorite part was probably eating the marshmallows (about 50 of them!) HE also liked to watch me vacuum seal them after they were done! Look for your crispy treats soon daddy!!!

God Bless America

Caiden sang God Bless America today at his Thanksgiving Feast...I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did! He LOVES to sing new songs...and loves to sing this one in particular. They sing it every day at school and his teacher told me after they are done she tells the children to go play nicely. Caiden now ends the song with the phrase "now go play nicely!" He is actually still singing the phrase at the end...of course not in this version...but at home he does...and it makes his momma laugh every time!

Thanksgiving Feast

Caiden's preschool had their annual Thanksgiving Feast was just wonderful. His Pop Pop was able to come with us and take lots of pictures and even sing with him! The kids had leaf shaped turkey sandwiches and all other kids of goodies in their little bags! The 2 1/2 year classes were all dressed up like Indians in outfits they got to die themselves!!! Caiden had so much fun singing many of the songs he has learned so far this school year :)

Daddy's Christmas Tree

We decided that we could not let Daddy go with out a Christmas tree this year...since that was one of our favorite things to decorate after Thanksgiving every year! Aunt Jill and Colton came over and ate dinner with us and help us put the part of the decorations on it. We can't show the final tree until after daddy receives it in Iraq...then we will post pictures of what it turned out to look like!!! Caiden and Cameron had a blast coloring pictures to make ornaments out of and Cameron...well Cameron had fun too as you can see by the pictures ;) We just hope Daddy gets as much enjoyment out of it as we had in making it!

Aaron in Iraq

I was finally able to get some pictures from Aaron in Iraq!!! Isn't he so handsome :) He is pretty much settled into his CHU (Containerized Housing Unit). We have already sent boxes to him to make him a little more comfy over there during his stay, and will continue to send stuff at least bi-weekly if not more often! The pictures as he described to me...
Him standing outside one of the fences I am assuming...because he didn't tell me where this was. He and CPT McQuary in the top middle. He is the guy that has helped Aaron out getting things done here and there. He is from the unit they are taking over for and he also went to West Point with him. Upper left corner is his 1st Sgt. Pilkinton, Aaron's 1st Sgt. Middle left is CW4 Osbourne, Aaron has flown with him already a couple of times in Iraq. The middle picture is of a M-RAP...Caiden just LOVED this and wanted to ride in it with Daddy! There is also a picture of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation building (what I like to call the Camper). The bottom left is a building that Aaron said is there at Camp Speicher from back when it was an Iraqi Airbase (pretty cool). And of course Aaron standing by one of the Apache's (how handsome) and his bed in Kuwait.
Hope you all enjoyed these pictures as much as I did! I will post more as soon as I get them :)

Caiden's Turkey

Caiden's Preschool is having a Thanksgiving Feast for the kids next week and one of their classroom projects was to make these wonderful little invites with their hands. Just wanted to post it so Daddy could see how good Caiden is at art! AND he only dumps the water out occasionally on the table :)

~Happy Halloween~

(click picture to enlarge)
Halloween was fun this year...but we missed Daddy a lot! We got to go to Trunk or Treat at Aunt Jill and Uncle Bobby's church. Caiden and Colton dressed up as fire fighters. Cameron was all snug in the seat...really snugly and warm! Daddy would have been proud how well he was bundled up! Caiden got to drive the fire truck and LOOK DADDY I even got to be in a photo with him :) They enjoyed getting TOO much chocolate as you can see Caiden is enjoying in the upper right hand picture, and even got to go on a hay ride. I will post pictures with Cameron's outfit soon!

Caiden's Fall Festival

(click picture to enlarge)
Caiden's class had there Fall Festival at school...they found a pumpkin, decorated it, decorated sugar cookies and got to eat them! They played and just had a great time! I was glad that I got to be a part of it...can't wait until the next party! Caiden, as you can see from the pictures, LOVED the frosting...he ate some, then ate some more...THEN ate his cookie! Needless to say he had a little bit of a sugar rush that afternoon!
